Hazell, Jacqui: - Award-winning British/Irish author Jacqui Hazell was born and brought up near Portsmouth on the south coast of England. She studied textile design in Nottingham and has an MA in creative writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. Her first full-time job was at Buckingham Palace and she has also worked as a humorous greetings card designer, a journalist, a magazine editor and a TV and film extra.
