Lion has been invited to a riverboat party, but instead of looking forward to it, he spends the whole day trying out new hair designs. Gerald Rose is a highly respected children's book illustrator, who teaches at the Maidstone College of Art He has won both the Kate Greenaway Award and the Premio Critici in Erba (Bologna). He grew up in Hong Kong, but he now lives in England with his wife.
