Horse Behaviour Handbook by Abigail Hogg

Using case studies, colour diagrams, tables and checklists, the book describes in graphic detail how and why horses behave as they do. It draws upon the writer's personal experience dealing with problem horses - and the issues faced by their owners and riders - and offers sympathetic, informed and intelligent advice on how to get the best out of horse and rider.
Abigail Hogg's work with horses began after saving to buy a shared pony at the age of 10. Her study and work abroad includes teaching alongside Lucy Rees (author of the seminal The Horse's Mind). She is currently a member of the Equine Behaviour Forum and the recently formed Natural Horse Group. This is her first book. She lives in Todmorden, Lancashire.
