Andrew Holtz is a health journalist with a master's degree in public health. He now works as a freelancer covering health and medicine. He was a CNN medical correspondent and co-anchor for the Your Health program. Holtz graduated from the Oregon MPH program with a Master of Public Health degree. He majored in broadcast communication and minored in physics at Stanford University, where he obtained his BA. He is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists' board of directors and a past president.
