Lesley White graduated from the University of Brighton with an MA in Sequential Design/Illustration, and was chosen as one of seven students to represent the course in an exhibition at Beijing City University. The first draft of The House Rabbit was 'Highly Commended' in both the Macmillan Prize 2010 and the Cheltenham Illustration Awards 2010.
