Ciaran was born in Cork, lived overlooking the Cork County Cricket Club and played for the county and Irish schools. He was the captain of cricket and vice-captain of rugby at Presentation Brothers College. He was an is the executive director of a dozen companies and has worked as business adviser to the CEO in more than 200 entrepreneur-led companies.
