How Football Saved My Life by Alan Stubbs
It was just a routine drugs test for Celtic star Alan Stubbs - but it saved his life...
Alan Stubbs was born on Merseyside in 1971 and played the majority of his career for Bolton Wanderers, Celtic and Everton. In 1999, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer but fought back to resume his playing career, eventually retiring in 2008. He now works on the coaching staff at Everton.
