How to Build a Natural Swimming Pool by Wolfram Kircher
Natural swimming pools are cleaned by plants instead of chlorine so they are gentle on the eyes and healthy for swimmers. This book describes how to build a pool to suit your site and maintain the nutrient level in perfect balance to keep the algae down and the water sparkling.

His research into low-maintenance naturalistic plantings on extreme substrates, which made an important contribution to "new German style" planting, puts habitat planting in reach of amateur gardeners. He lectures widely. Andreas Thon works as a consultant in the field of irrigation and water purification and is a trained landscape architect who has constructed several natural swimming pools.
