She is a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and was awarded the AOTA Recognition of Achievement Award for her extensive efforts in training others about children with developmental disorders. She is Assistant Clinical Professor of Occupational Therapy at the University of New England and Occupational Therapist at the Jameson School in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
