How to Improve Your Self Esteem by Elaine Sheehan
If you doubt your self-worth, you lack the basic foundation for happiness and success in life. 'How to Improve Self-Esteem' brings together a wide range of techniques for creating and enhancing self-esteem, helping you realise your full potential. Feeling good about yourself will enable you to be relaxed, positive and creative and more able to take control of all aspects of your life. With chapters including working through criticism, inappropriate and healthy beliefs, testing your senses in your imagination and challenging negative thinking, the book presents a comprehensive approach to coping with low self-esteem. Background, possible causes and, where appropriate, symptoms are all explored. Advice on self-help, as well as where – and when – to turn for qualified help is discussed in an objective and accessible way.
