How to Look at Sculpture by David Finn

Describes the qualities of great sculpture, looks at famous works from ancient Egypt to the present, and offers tips on their appreciation.
From the moment David read a Grant Morrison comic at a tennis court as a teen, his mind was blown, and there was no option but to weave stories of action and reality bending adventure! Storytelling pumps in his veins. Everything from Conan the Barbarian tales, Punisher comics, Julian May's classic time travel adventure series Saga of the Exiles through to PD James murder mysteries have been a powerful influence on David's writing.

As a writer, David seeks that sweet spot between fast moving action and character moments inside a vibrant fantasy world. Watching TV in the dead of night, Demorn and The Asanti Series sprung into his mind, virtually unbidden and kicking ass. The Asanti Series began life as a comic outline but had grown into a novel within the first week. By the end of the first month, it was a trilogy. Now, David plans a seven book series and has the notebooks and glassy eyes to prove it!

Demorn: Blade of Exile is the first book in the Asanti Series. Book Two, Demorn: City of Innocents followed in January 2016. David is currently working on Book 3 in the Asanti series, Demorn: Soul Fighter to be released later this year.

David is currently based in Sydney, Australia.
