How to Make a Movie in 10 Easy Lessons by Robert Blofield

So, you want to make a movie, but you haven’t got a spare million pounds? Don’t let that stop you!  From writing your script and planning a storyboard, to filming with a camera or just a mobile phone, this book leads the way. Breaking a daunting subject into easy-to-manage chunks with insider tips, this book provides a framework for budding directors, camera-operators, and editors. By following each lesson and giving it a go, readers can learn the 10 Super Skills needed to create their very own film.

In simple, clear explanatory texte with bright informative pictures, this spiral-bound book takes you through each of the stages involved in making a film with your camera or moile phoneGreat for the budding film-maker.

This book gives a simple outline on how to write, direct and edit your first film, and does exactly that! [...] Of particular use in any library that runs a film club, but also very readable for those students wanting to know how it's done, would suit KS2-3 well.

Covering everything from where to find inspiration, to mastering light and sound (generally the area most overlooked by first-time directors), it is both informative and inspiring. Skill nine, of ten, covers ways to get your film shown. The spiral bound format should make it easy to use even on set!

It will be highly valued for use at home and also in schools - a great idea for an after-school club, perhaps. With spiral binding, excellent use of diagrams and charts to show the flow of work, this is an excellent and inspiring guide.
