Carolyn Collins Petersen is an astronomy and space-science media writer and producer for planetariums, observatories, science centers, and websites. She is the founder and CEO of Loch Ness Productions, a one-of-a-kind multimedia production firm. Losing the Dark, a partnership with the International Dark-Sky Association, is a recent work. She has written over 75 documentary scripts and several books on astronomy and planetary science. Carolyn is also a voice-over artist who has contributed her voice to a number of science narrations, including Loch Ness Productions' Space Weather FX series for MIT's Haystack Observatory.
Her work is also featured in the Astronomy Behind the Headlines series at Astrocast.TV and the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. Reading science fiction is one of Carolyn's favorite pastimes.
