Maris Wicks is a Massachusetts resident. She's drawn comics for Adhouse Books, Tugboat Publishing, and Spongebob Comics, and written stories for Image and DC Comics, using the power of her numerous biological systems. Wicks collaborated with Jim Ottaviani on the New York Times best-selling book Primates. Wicks works as a program educator at the New England Aquarium when she isn't drawing comics. Her pulmonary system is something she's very proud of. Her most recent graphic novel is Human Body Theater.
