Human Development Across the Lifespan by John Dacey
All of the lifespan without all of the bells and whistles. This chronologically-organized text is less expensive and briefer than most Lifespan texts. Its numerous examples drawn from education, nursing, and psychology make the content relevant to students from a variety of majors and backgrounds, while a highly praised study guide integrated into the text promotes and reinforces conceptual understanding.
Dr. John Dacey teaches courses in adolescent and adult development at Boston College and has a small practice as a psychotherapist. He is the author of 13 books on the subjects of anxiety, creativity and human development, including Your Anxious Child and The Safe Child Handbook. He has received public service awards from Newton, Peabody and Roxbury, MA. John F. Travers is a Professor of Child Psychology at Boston College.
