Sally Hunter worked on greetings cards before developing Humphrey and launching the first title in Autumn 1999. As a character, Humphrey can be seen on cards and stationery, as beautiful soft toys and nursery clothes and bedding in every Mothercare store, as well as in the Humphrey picture books, making him a high profile character. Sally lives in Hertfordshire with her three children.
