Trevor's mum has offered him £30 to walk the dog every day of the holidays. But Streaker is no ordinary dog, she's a rocket on four legs with a woof attached. Jeremy Strong has been writing for children for many years and until recently combined this with being the headmaster of a primary school. He now writes full-time and has a rapidly growing reputation. He won the 1996 Children's Book Award for this novel. Jeremy lives in Somerset.
