Hiroyuki Fujiwara is a Professor at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Gifu University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He was a research associate at The Pennsylvania State University during 1996-1998. In 1998, he joined the Electrotechnical Laboratory, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Japan. In 2007, he became a team leader of Research Center for Photovoltaics, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology

(AIST) in Japan.
