I Give You the World by Stacey Mccleary

I give you the world and everything in it. Come, let me show you –  it won’t take a minute… From soaring eagles and timid deer, to the winter’s chill and summer’s laughter, I Give You the World is a beautiful celebration of life and the natural world’s many precious gifts. With gorgeous illustrations from Carmen Saldaña (Bug Bear), this is the perfect book to welcome a new baby to the world.
Stacey McCleary is, was and always will be a children's author... It has been this way ever since she faked illness during primary school to write stories on her enormous yellow typewriter at home. When Stacey is not writing in her pyjamas, she's daydreaming about what she will next write in her pyjamas. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with her daughter, a dog, two guinea pigs and a goldfish named Rod Stewart. Carmen Saldaña lives in Gijon, a rainy city in the north of Spain. After studying Arts, she worked as a graphic designer in advertising agencies before becoming a freelance illustrator focusing on children’s books, the field she enjoys the most. Carmen loves furry animals, birds, bugs and everything related to nature, her main source of inspiration.
