Dickie Dolby started out teaching in Secondary Schools in Cape Town where he found the energy of the students truly inspiring. Many had a real desire to learn and they believed that education had the power to change the direction of their lives. Education was also something that spilled outside the classroom and it gave Dickie the belief that students learn as much from teachers as from each other, as much from inside the classroom as they do from the world outside.
