The book looks at both broad historical trends and the successes and failures of particular works of art from a wide variety of artists and styles. In the south-west of England, John Nicholass owns and operates his own gardening firm. He enjoys all parts of gardening and has been collecting and growing fuchsias for over 25 years, both in his own garden and for display at local and national events. He is a member of the British Fuchsia Society's committee, as well as the Bristol Fuchsia & Geranium Society's secretary and show secretary.
