The Implements of Agriculture by J Allen Ransome
Originally published in 1843, this illustrated title summarizes the developments of ploughs, thrashers, drills, milling machines and a wide range of horse-powered implements. The author was writing just after the engineering company in which he was a partner had won the Gold Award at the Oxford Royal Show for its chaff-cutting machines and scarifiers and just at the time when it was launching the YL plough.
