Imre Makovecz by Edwin Heathcote
Until Expo 92 the architecture of Imre Makovecz was little known outside of Hungary. This book examines his work by exploring his most important buildings.
Edwin Heathcote is an architect and writer working in London. He became interested in the architecture of Imre Makovecz while studying at Kingston University where he wrote a dissertation on his work. He has lived and worked in Hungary as a journalist for radio and newspapers and is also the author of Twentieth Century Architecture in Budapest. He is currently collaborating with Makovecz in the building of a pavilion and exhibition in London.
