In Full Cry by Jim Meads
Jim Meads' photographs are legendary and In Full Cry gives the reader the true flavour of hunting to hounds, our oldest and most exciting country sport. In Full Cry contains a fabulous mixture of colour photographs of the best of hunting both in the U.K. and America. The book captures the atmosphere and camaraderie of hunting, its characters, its hounds, the frightening fences and the ghastly falls and above all its tradition. Hunting is alive and well and goes forward "in full cry". .
Jim Meads started by working with his father, a Country Life staff photographer. He was a regular contributor to the Shooting Times and Country Magazine and Horse and Hound. In Full Cry follows on from his three previous books, They Still Meet at Eleven; They will always Meet at Eleven and My Hunting World. Jim Meads is still, after more than 50 years, running with hounds both here and in America. He and his wife live in North Wales.
