In Search of the Far Side by Gary Larson
David M. Armstrong (1926-2014) has been one of the most influential contemporary metaphysicians working in the analytic tradition and surely the greatest 20th century Australian philosopher. This volume aims to value Armstrong's oeuvre bringing new understanding, and stimulating more work, on his philosophy, with the conviction that it constitutes an invaluable heritage for contemporary research in metaphysics.
Larson, Gary: -
Gary Larrson creator of the phenomenally successful cartoon, The Far Side(R), grew up in Tacoma, Washington. As a kid he liked to draw but never formally studied art or considered being a cartoonist. His real love was biology, which ultimately became a frequent topic in his cartoon panel.
Larson has the distinction of having the scientific community name a biting louse and a butterfly after him. He lives in Seattle, Washington--above ground.
