In Their Lives by Andrew Blauner
Blauner anthologises essays from 30 authors, actors, and musicians reflecting on their favourite Beatles songs, creating a monument to the enduring impact of the most popular band of all time. The diversity of favourite tracks and the variety of reasons contributors love them speak to the range of the Beatles' catalogue and the power their music still has. Whether readers remember the Beatles' music as a solace in times of trouble or as a celebration, in their lives, they've loved them all.Andrew Blauner is the co-editor of For the Love of Baseball and the editor of five anthologies: The Good Book: Writers Reflect on Favorite Biblical Passages; Coach; Brothers; Our Boston; Central Park; and In Their Lives: A Chorus of Writers Shout the Praise of Their Favorite Beatles Songs. He has appeared on NPR's On Point, The Leonard Lopate Show, ABC, CBS, NBC, and other media outlets, and his writing has been published in The New York Times. He is the creator of the Blauner Books Literary Agency and a member of the PEN American Center and the National Book Critics Circle. He is a graduate of Collegiate School, Brown University, and Columbia Management School.
