It is now in its third edition. In Your Own Voice, a student's guide to improving writing techniques and skills; Character Awareness, The Art of Seeing; and The Duke's Musician and Predators, two novels of intrigue set in the Italian Renaissance. Selling, a professional creative writing instructor, has led Writing From Within workshops for teachers, writers, individuals in recovery, and those seeking more self-awareness. He's also taught English and humanities at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, as well as composition and literature at Loyola Marymount University, West Los Angeles College, and UCLA Extension. He has given talks in the United States and Europe, and has taught his writing approaches to instructors from New Hampshire to Texas along the Eastern Seaboard.
He has also collaborated with the Eckenroth Foundation, a German educational foundation that supports young German writers. Selling is a resident of Topanga Canyon, California.
