John Francis Hughes holds a doctorate from Simon Fraser University's School of Communication. He is a former university instructor, journalist and bike courier. John and his wife, Cat (and their kitty-cat, Luna), own Groove Cat Books and Records in New Westminster, Canada. They also own and operate Cosmic Cranium Press.
