Sean qualified as a doctor in 1990 and initially served in the RAF in the UK, Germany and Bosnia completing his general practice training during that time.
After leaving the forces, and working as a GP, Sean decided to retrain in obstetrics and gynaecology following the birth of his first son when he was unimpressed by the actions of the obstetric registrar looking after his wife and unborn child in labour.
In addition to his NHS duties, Sean carries out some private work at the Vale Hospital, Hensol and The Centre for Reproduction and Gynaecology (CRGW), Llantrisant, Nr.Cardiff – a highly regarded fertility unit.
