Rudi Volti is Emeritus Professor Sociology at Pitzer College, where he taught courses on the sociology of work and occupations, economic sociology, technology and society, and complex organizations. He currently serves as book review editor for Transfers: The Journal of Interdisciplinary Mobility Studies.
