Jim Pipe has a degree in Ancient and Modern History from Oxford University. He has written over 100 children's titles, including history, graphic novels, and fantasy books.
Illustrator Maria Taylor lives in Plymouth, Devon, England, where she lectures in illustration at Plymouth College of Art. She has also illustrated books for Penguin.
