John Waller was educated at Cambridge Unversity, trained as a Systems Engineer at IBM and founded a computer company. He was a Liberal councillor in Richmond for 17 years and three times parliamentary candidate for Twickenham. In 2004 Greek Walls, memories of his life in Corfu from 1966 was published. In 2005 the sequel, Corfu Sunset, was described by the Daily Mail as 'essential reading for anyone thinking of moving abroad to a place in the sun'. He has had four further books published.
