Iron Maiden: A Photo History by Ross Halfin
No photographer in the world took more - or better - shots of Iron Maiden than Ross Halfin. Having worked with the group since their emergence in the late 1970s, he became a part of the rollercoaster ride that saw Maiden conquer the world as the leading lights of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. This book illustrates their story.
ROSS HALFIN is one of the top music photographers in the world today. After beginning his career in the late Seventies, he helped launch Kerrang! magazine, for which he became chief photographer for its first decade. As well as Iron Maiden, he has been associated with a number of top metal acts including Metallica, Def Leppard, Ozzy Osborne and Plant & Page. He is based in London.
