Glen was born in County Durham in 1982 and studied English at Leeds Beckett University. In 2013 he won an AHRC scholarship to study for an M.A. in Creative Writing at the University of Chichester, where he graduated with distinction, and the Kate Betts Memorial Award. Ironopolis, is his first novel. He lives in Manchester.
