Armin Greder worked as a graphic designer before going on to teach design and illustration at a university. He illustrated the 2016 CBCA Picture Book of the Year, Flight, with Nadia Wheatley, as well as Libby Gleeson's The Big Bear, An Ordinary Day, and I Am Thomas. The Mediterranean, The Island, The City, and Australia to Z are among the books he has written and drawn. He has been nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize and has received the Bologna Ragazzi Award.
