This guidebook describes 30 walks on 14 islands of the Croatian Adriatic including the islands of Hvar and Mljet, as well as quieter islands. The walks are arranged from north to south starting in the region of Kvarner, then covering the northern Dalmatian coast, Central Dalmatia and Southern Dalmatia. The walks are between 2 and 23.5km and mostly of an easy nature on well-established trails. Rudolf Abraham is an award-winning travel writer and photographer specialising in Croatia and eastern Europe. He is the author of eight books (five of them on Croatia) and has contributed to over a dozen more, and his work is published widely in magazines. He first visited Croatia in 1998, lived in Zagreb for two years, and continues to spend several weeks a year in his favourite country in Europe.
