'It's Only Banter' by Leroy Rosenior
'It's Only Banter' is the story of the footballer, Leroy Rosenior. He started his football career at Fulham and went on to enjoy a long and fruitful career, playing and scoring goals for - among others - Queens Park Rangers, West Ham and Bristol City. Rosenior also won international caps with Sierra Leone.
Leroy Rosenior was a striker who enjoyed a successful career in football throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s. Having won promotion as a manager at Torquay, Rosenior knows first-hand the problems facing young, black coaches in the modern game and today is both an anti-racist campaigner and respected pundit. He co-wrote his book with respected sports journalist and author Leo Moynihan.
