She also has over 20 DVDs available for professionals who work with families and clients. Her first book for Central Recovery Publishing is The Wisdom of Hope. Dr. Black has received numerous national honors, including the Marty Mann Award, the 1991 SECAD Award, and the NCA's Educator of the Year Award. Dr. Black is the Senior Clinical and Family Services Adviser for Central Recovery Treatment, as well as the Senior Editor for Central Recovery Press.
