TIM JEPSON has been an ardent supporter of Italy his entire life. He has lived and traveled extensively throughout Italy since graduating from Oxford, including a year in a rural Umbrian village, where he learnt fluent Italian, and five years as a writer and journalist in Rome. He's published 15 books about the country and several articles for the Daily Telegraph, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, and other publications throughout the years. In the National Geographic Traveler series, he published the following guides: Jepson, who is now living in London, continues to visit Italy on a regular basis, with a special interest in the country's mountain and wilderness areas as a passionate hiker and outdoor enthusiast. He also enjoys Italy's more sedentary delights, such as cuisine, wine, art, and culture, and aspires to one day indulge in all of them from his own little Venetian apartment.
