QUINCY TROUPE is the author of nine collections of poetry, three children's books, and six nonfiction works as an author, coauthor, or editor. He worked on his autobiography with Miles Davis and The Pursuit of Happiness with Chris Gardner, which went over forty weeks on the New York Times best-seller list and was adapted into a blockbuster cinematic feature starring Will Smith. Miles and Me, a biography about Troupe's connection with Miles Davis, features a screenplay by Troupe.
