Journeys by Ian R Macleod
Journeys is a form of intellectual travelogue that charts the poet's attempts to capture the sounds and sights of his native Pakistan and foreign lands through the lens of a Pakistani rooted in his soil. He attempts to revisit and revive many of the rhythms and rhymes of his native Punjabi poetry in his English verse. This book is a celebration of Shuja Nawaz's deep and emotional links to his land.
Ian McLeod is a retired patent attorney having spent fifty years running his own private practice. He holds three degrees from the University of Michigan in law, chemistry and chemical engineering. In his free time he collects antique firearms and antique cars.
