Judaikitsch by Jennifer Traig
The world is full of doodads, but Jewdads are few and far between. Judaikitsch aims to fill that void. Pop-culture meets how-to in over 50 projects and recipes that run the gamut from a Neil Tzedakah Box and a Hebrew School Handbag, to delicacies like Jewshi and Hava Tequila Pie, and loads of mishegoss in between. With plenty of technicolour photographs of bedazzling kitsch throughout, Judaikitsch shows you what might happen if Martha Stewart were abducted by a tribe of trailer park rabbis.
Jennifer Traig is the co-author of Crafty Girl: Beauty, Crafty Girl: Cool Stuff and Crafty Girl: Fun and Games (Chronicle Books). She lives as a self-styled kosher cowgirl in San Francisco. Victoria Traig serves up cool art and hot food as an artist and waitress in Portland, Oregon. She's a Hebrew school dropout but holds degrees in art from UCLA and the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts. She is taller than her sister and tans more evenly.
