The Ohio State University awarded him a bachelor's degree in sociology with a focus on criminology. He's taught at Pembroke State University, Sangamon State University, and the University of Northern Iowa, where he was named Outstanding Scholar, got the Donald McKay Research Prize, and received the Regents' Award for Faculty Achievement. Dr. Bartollas is the author of more than 30 publications and books.
