David Paton-Williams is the Rector of St Gregory's Bedale, the North Yorkshire church in which Katterfelto is buried. A recent sabbatical led to new interests: historical research, drystone walling and stained glass. He is Secretary of the Friends of North Country Theatre, a travelling theatre company, and is married with two sons.
