Dr. Timothy Howard works at the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado as a Senior Research Scientist. He earned his doctorate. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics, an honors degree in science, and a graduate diploma in education from the University of Newcastle in Australia. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom at Montana State University and the National Solar Observatory in the United States, where he conducted research for the United States government.
