Ruth began working when she was 16 years old, for a power business in North West England. She met Neil here, and the two married in 1989. Both of them share a passion for travel. They are fascinated by different places' history and cultures, as well as the various culinary delights and legends and myths that bring a place to life. Another of their passions is the sea, and they are most content at their 'Sanctuary by the Sea,' a static caravan in Llŷn, Wales.
