Daniel J.Boyne is a former varsity women's coach at Tufts University and the director of recreational rowing at Harvard University. He's written for Harvard Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, and Wooden Boat, among other publications. He was a former columnist for American Rowing Magazine and the author of Essential Sculling. He resides in the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
