Killfile by Christopher Farnsworth
A brilliant contemporary thriller with a unique special element - for fans of Inception, Minority Report and Touch by Claire North When billionaire Everett Sloan hires John Smith to take down his biggest rival, it's not just because he's a gun for hire. It's because he reads minds. Paired with the beautiful Kelsey Foster and promised a reward that fulfils his wildest dreams, Smith can't believe his luck. And then he finds out the target... Ranging from Silicon Valley to the mountains of Afghanistan and the skyscrapers of Dubai, Christopher Farnsworth's Killfile is a dazzlingly original thriller that introduces a totally unique new action hero. "I enjoyed the hell out of it" - Ernest Cline, author of Ready Player One
An intriguing premise makes the latest thriller from Farnsworth shine. . James Rollins, Michael Crichton, and Jeremy Robinson fans should definitely think about picking this one up. Hopefully a sequel with John Smith will be coming soon. * Booklist *
Farnsworth, author of the fantastical Nathaniel Cade series, stand to expand his following with this clever, offbeat thriller. * Kirkus Reviews *
I really liked this, bit like being on a roller coaster. Well worth taking on holiday * frostmagazine.com *
The characters and dialogue are first class and the interaction between the main protagonists is excellent. The pace has sufficient light and shade to allow the reader to steal the occasional breath. The violence is gut-wrenching but just falls short of being gratuitous. If all his other thrillers are as well written, beautifully researched and as fast paced as this one then I have some happy reading hours ahead of me * Breakaway Reviewers *
A compelling introduction to a morally ambiguous hero, Kill File is a seamless blend of sub genres that moves fast, hits hard and leaves you wanting more. * Starburst Magazine *
A former military man and telepath sells his services to the wealthy. But, when he's asked to retrieve information and wipe it from an entrepreneur's brain, things go horribly wrong. He and sidekick Kelsey find themselves being pursued by a man who can track their every move. A thriller that's nicely balanced, cinematically written (easy to visualize on-screen), with a touch of romance * Bookfoolery *
