The feel-good place to buy books
Kingdom by Jon Mcnaught
A journey through the inbetween places of the British landscape to the bleak coast, Kingdom follows a family on their holiday to a small caravan park, where teenager Andrew explores the dunes, and half-remembered stories from the past are shared.
This is sublimeAnd it will resonate with so very many of you, for it's the most skilful evocation - through light, colour, precise pacing and that which sometimes left sullenly unsaid - of sights, sounds, sensations and behavioural moments during a key time common to us all: the British summer holiday -- Stephen L.
