The Kingdom of the Deep by Colin Willock
This book explores the world of the oceans, the seas and their islands and icecaps. Each chapter reveals the natural history of a particular species or group of animals whose lives depend on the sea. These include penguin colonies in the sub-Antarctic and the unique ecosystem of the Galapagos islands in the Pacific. In all, the book covers a vast range of subjects and geographical areas. The book is published to coincide with a series of 12 "Survival" programmes on television.
